Expansion Project and
Community Centre Upgrades
The Dwight Branch of the Lake of Bays Township Public Library is a hub of activity and needs more space to service the community. The Library Board is thrilled to be working with the Township of Lake of Bays Council and Staff on this project. We expect construction to begin in early 2025 with a planned completion of early 2026. Along with the library renovation and expansion, the community centre will receive upgrades including fully accessible washrooms and a commercial kitchen!

We are gratefully accepting donations towards this project! We can accept credit card, securities and stock donations through there link below. Cheques can be made out to the Township of Lake of Bays and brought into the library. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $25.
